    Yearbook is a collection of original tunes composed by Cape Breton pianist Adam Young during a tune-a-day writing project. They were written on the piano but are suitable for fiddle and other instruments.

    All of the tunes featured on the Yearbook double album are featured within this book, along with many compositions that have not previously been made available.

    Each tune features chord suggestions for accompanists, and many tunes feature descriptions explaining the inspiration for the titles and melodies.

Distilled from a tunewriting project which saw the composition of one new piece of music every day for a year, Yearbook is a unique double album featuring 37 original tunes played by 58 musicians. Features airs, jigs, marches, strathspeys, and reels, all rooted in the traditional style of music found on Cape Breton Island, with arrangements influenced by disco, doowop, New Orleans jazz, bluegrass, electronic, Scots traditional and more!
